Amenity: Racquetball/Handball Court
Location: Entrance is from outdoors, south end of Main Pool
Finding a place to play raquetball has never been a problem for Sixty-01 residents. Since it opened in 1970, the Clubhouse has offered residents exclusive use of a regulation 40 x 20-ft. indoor racquetball and handball court. Due to moisture damage from a lack of ventilation and poor foundation drainage, severe structural damage forced the closure of the court in 2006. However, on May 24, 2008, following two years of mold mitgation and extensive renovation, we were overjoyed to be able to announce that the once again all-new facility was again open. May all your serves be good!
RACQUETBALL/HANDBALL COURT RULES
Use at your own risk; Sixty-01 is not responsible for accidents or injuries.- Inspect and clear court of debris and fluids prior to use to increase safety.
- Court use is limited to racquetball or handball, unless otherwise approved by Sixty-01.
- Limit use time to 1 hour when others are waiting.
- Only non-marking gym or court shoes allowed on court.
- No food or liquids allowed on court; and smoking is prohibited anywhere in the building.
- Eye protection is highly recommended.
- Racquets must be equipped with racquet guards and wrist straps; wrist straps must be worn at all times.
- No striking of walls or floor with racquets.
- Non-residents must be accompanied by a resident at all times.
- Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs may not enter court.
- Any person violating any Sixty-01 rule is subject to removal.
Owners are responsible for damage caused by their household
members or guests, and their tenants or tenants' guests.
